Registration

Registrations now OPEN for 2023/24 season.

 

Hi everyone – just letting you know that registrations for 2023/24 are now open, and we’re looking forward to getting started on another great season of Little Athletics at Newcastle City!

 

As per last year, registration is all done online – the link is (https://lansw.com.au/newcastle-city/).  Registration fees for NCLAC this season will be the same as last year, and family discounts for multiple children are also available again – as per the following table:

  • Family of 1 - $180
  • Family of 2 - $330 ($30 discount)
  • Family of 3 - $480 ($60 discount)
  • Family of 4 - $600 ($120 discount)
  • Family of 5 - $700 ($200 discount)

To receive the discount, make sure to add all your kids before going to the payment screen.  Once you have added one child, there is an option to “Register Another” which you should use before going on to do the payment.

 

Also, please keep in mind that we are an “Active Kids” provider, so you are entitled to use your NSW Active Kids Voucher(s) for registration if you haven’t already used it for this year.  This will bring the cost down by $50 per child - more information on the scheme can be found on the NSW Office of Sport website (https://sport.nsw.gov.au/sectordevelopment/activekids).

 

As last year, your registration fee will include a custom-printed singlet for each athlete, so please make sure to select the correct size as part of the registration process.

 

Our calendar is fairly similar to previous years, sand again we will be having 10 competition nights before Christmas and 9 after, with the 10th being the presentation night.   Important dates for our coming season are as follows:

  • First competition night – Monday 9th October
  • Zone Multi-event Championships – Sunday 5th November at Federal Park, Wallsend
  • Zone Championships – Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th November (to be held at the blue track again!)
  • Club Christmas Party – Monday 11th December
  • Return from Christmas break – Monday January 29th
  • Regional Championships – TBA February at Glendale Athletics Track
  • State Championships – Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th March at Sydney Olympic Park Athletics Track
  • Final competition night – Monday 25th March
  • Presentation Night – Monday 8th April
